Google Authenticator 2FA Troubleshooting

Here are some common troubleshooting steps for Google Authenticator 2FA issues:

  1. Time Sync Issues Ensure that the time on your mobile device is synced correctly. Google Authenticator relies on accurate time settings to generate valid codes. You can sync the time in the app by going to Settings > Time correction for codes.

  2. Lost Access to Google

If you lose access to your Google Authenticator app, you can reset your 2FA using your master password or by contacting Acronym customer support for assistance at support@acronym.exchange.

  3. Backup Codes If you have previously downloaded an emergency kit or backup codes, you can use these to regain access to your account without needing the Google Authenticator app.

  4. Contact Support

If none of the above steps work, reach out to Acronym's customer support for further assistance. They can help you reset your 2FA or troubleshoot any other issues.

Make sure to always keep your master password and backup codes secure to avoid future issues.
