How to set up a 2FA at Acronym

To set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) follow these steps:

  1. Create an Acronym Account

    1. Go to the official Acronym platform: https://alpha.acronym.exchange/

    2. Click on the "Create account" button in the top right corner.

    3. Enter your email, password, and select your country of residence. Then, click "Sign up".

  2. Set Up Your Master Password After signing up, you will be prompted to set up a master password. This is a critical step as the master password is your backup if you lose access to 2FA.

  3. Enable Google Two-Factor Authentication

    1. Once your master password is set, you will be prompted to enable 2FA using Google Authenticator.

    2. Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone, scan the QR code provided by Acronym, and enter the generated code to complete the setup.

  4. Download Your Emergency Kit After setting up 2FA, download your emergency kit for additional security.

Important: If you ever need to reset your 2FA, you can do so using your master password or by contacting Acronym customer support
