  1. Getting Started

What is Acronym

The Acronym platform enables you to interact with various blockchains securely. It is hosted in Liechtenstein with redundant infrastructure in Switzerland to ensure reliability.

Core Components of the Acronym Solution

The Acronym Solution consists of two main components:

  1. Acronym Vaults ("Vaults") – Non-custodial, segregated sub-wallets for digital assets. Only the registered user has access.

  2. Acronym Hybrid Chain ("Hybrid Chain") – Facilitates decentralized transaction processing and ensures transparency.

How Acronym Vaults Work

Each Vault consists of two partial Vaults and three separate security areas:

  • Read-Only "Hot" Vaults – Allow users to view assets but not move them.

  • Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) – Serves as a security layer between hot and cold storage.

  • Offline "Cold" Vault – Stores private keys offline for maximum security.

Access and Security

  • The Vault software ensures that neither Acronym’s staff nor third parties can access stored digital assets.

  • The Vault’s signature process cryptographically prevents unauthorized access.

  • Only you, the user, hold the private keys to your Vault.

  • Your private key is secured through your master password and/or multi-factor PIN.

  • Private keys are never stored on the Acronym Platform.

  • It is cryptographically impossible for Acronym or anyone else to access, modify, or sign transactions from your Vault.
