Best Security Practices for Acronym Vault

  1. Create a Strong Master Password

Your master password is the ultimate key to your account. Make it strong and unique, as it is crucial for securing your vault and transactions.

  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Set up Google Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security. This ensures that even if someone has your password, they cannot access your account without the 2FA code.

  3. Download Your Emergency Kit After setting up 2FA, download your emergency kit, which contains backup codes and instructions for account recovery in case you lose access to your 2FA device.

  4. Monitor for Suspicious Activity Regularly check your account for any unusual activity. If suspicious activity is detected, Acronym may freeze your account for protection, and you will be notified via email.

  5. Use Secure Devices Ensure that the devices you use to access your account are secure, with up-to-date antivirus software and strong passwords.

  6. Account Recovery If you lose access to your account, you can reset your password or 2FA through the Acronym support page.

By following these steps, you can significantly enhance the security of your Acronym account.
