  1. When you create an Acronym account, you will be prompted to set up a master password. Follow the straightforward steps provided during the setup process to create a strong and unique master password, ensuring your account is well-protected against unauthorised access.

  1. Your master password acts as the ultimate key to your account's vault, safeguarding your cryptocurrency and all associated transactions. It is the first line of defense against unauthorized access and plays a crucial role in protecting your digital assets. To ensure maximum security, create a strong, unique password that is difficult to guess. Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and avoid using easily identifiable information like names or dates. Most importantly, keep your master password confidential and never share it with anyone. Your digital security depends on it.

  1. After setting your master password, you will receive a prompt to download your Emergency Kit. This essential document contains critical information, including recovery keys and instructions, that can help you regain access to your account in case you forget your password or encounter other access issues. Treat your Emergency Kit as a secure backup for your account. Download it immediately and store it in a safe location, such as a password-protected device or a fire proof safe. Keeping it safe ensures you’re prepared for any unexpected situations while maintaining full control of your account.

If you do not receive the prompt or prefer to set up your master password at a later time, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the top-right corner of the page, select "Account," and navigate to "Settings."

  1. Once you're in the settings, go to the "Security" section and click on "Security Setup."
